Special Presentation - Introducing a Free Geospatial Resource - National Map

Presented by Marie Truelove, Co-Leader of the Terria Spatial Digital Twin Program

Since the launch of National Map in 2014, the number of open geospatial datasets made available to users has grown to over 16,000, supported by data custodians from all levels of government and the research sector across Australia. More than a million users have accessed National Map because it has been an easy way to unlock insights that come from discovering, visualising and sharing geospatial data! Marie’s presentation will include a recap of National Map’s most popular datasets and features including how to ‘drag and drop’ your own data, create and share data stories. Additionally, Marie will introduce the Spatial Digital Twin Platforms that have been emerging across Australia supported by CSIRO’s National Map team, and their most popular 3D datasets and features available for all to use.
