An exciting opportunity  for your students to get a taste of university. A half day experience with engaging activities presented by lecturers from the University of Queensland  in both physical and human geography.

Secondary students from years 10-12 will also have the opportunity to meet some young geographers currently studying at UQ and working in a range of Geographic industries.

The student day is presented by GTAQ and University of Queensland School of The Environment, there is no charge for students.

The day includes morning tea and lunch, and conference bag and T shirt.

Students do not have to be accompanied by a teacher as we will have GTAQ teachers at the event. However, teachers who want to accompany their students are very welcome, and should you want to register for a half day at the GTAQ Conference (held on the same day at the same venue) you have the option of a half-day registration at $100.

In partnership with the University of Queensland School of the Environment we are excited to provide this opportunity for students.
