This webinar will equip geography educators with effective strategies to prepare Year 12 students for external assessment in Senior Geography. Key themes include unpacking the assessment objectives, aligning teaching with the cognitive requirements of the external exam, and using data to inform targeted revision. The webinar will explore common areas of difficulty, and practical resources to support student success. Participants will engage with sample responses, marking guides, and model activities to build confidence in preparing students for data analysis and response tasks, particularly extended response, under timed conditions. With a focus on clarity, consistency, and curriculum alignment, this session is highly relevant for teachers aiming to enhance student outcomes and build assessment literacy in the senior phase.
