We’re excited to announce our Opening Keynote for GTAQ 2026: Dr Adam Liedloff.

With over 25 years as a CSIRO ecologist, Adam brings a powerful perspective on climate, systems thinking, and the future of our environments. From modelling fire, farming, and endangered species to working alongside teachers and students, his work sits at the intersection of science, people, and place.

Passionate about inspiring the next generation, Adam is a strong advocate for Geography as a vital STEM discipline, and we can’t wait for him to challenge and inspire us all.

We’re excited to announce our Closing Keynote for GTAQ 2026: Lucas Holden.

With over 23 years’ experience in surveying and geospatial education at RMIT University, Lucas brings a powerful perspective on geospatial technologies and their role in shaping future careers. From leading the Victorian Surveying Task Force to working alongside teachers to promote Geography pathways, his work connects education, industry, and real-world application.

Passionate about Physical Geography, Lucas also researches active volcanoes in New Zealand, bringing cutting-edge science into his teaching. We can’t wait for him to inspire and challenge us as we close GTAQ 2026.
